Description
Organ made by the famous Estey Organ Co. of Brattleboro, Vermont between 1869 – 1936. It has been in our church for years as one, now deceased, member remembered it being used when he was a child in 1936.
The cabinet part of the organ is in beautiful condition, the silk fabric on the “speakers” is dry rotted but could be replaced. The fabric on the pump pedals is also worn away. On a blade of a fan-like structure inside the organ is a tag/imprint “Vox Humana Tremolo, Patented June 27, 1865, reissued Oct. 5, 1869, Estey Organ company.”
Measures 44″ wide, floor to top of side ornaments is 50″ and 23″ at the deepest.
