Drinkwell Premium Replacement Activated Coconut Shell Carbon Filters keep your pet’s water tasting clean and fresh. The premium filter segments the (GAC) Granular Activated carbon made from raw organic coconut shells into 6 compartments, reducing the settling of the carbon and enhancing overall filtration. Each filter features a duo-density polyester pad that catches hair and debris, while the activated coconut shell carbon removes bad tastes and odors from the water. The filters do not purify the water. These filters are similar to filters used in fish tanks.
Filters help extend the life of your fountain and pump and should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the number of pets using the fountain. If you have more pets or notice more debris, a slimy feel, or decreased water flow in your fountain, you should clean it more often.
Not compatible with the Drinkwell 360 Fountain Model.
